Kai Trump can count on multiple prominent backers when she starts her LPGA debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who is connected to a former US president, received a sponsor's invitation to play at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
The former president, an avid golfer, operates multiple golf courses and regularly matches against Kai.
"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we play competitive games," she mentioned.
Kai explained that her grandfather, who cannot attend, told her: "Just avoid anxiety."
"He essentially advised me to go out there and relax," she explained.
"From my perspective, he's simply a normal grandpa. He can't make it for the tournament. He's occupied with world affairs, making him quite busy."
While still amateur, the golfer has played in just three tournaments recently and maintains position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
Yet she can get advice from 15-time major champion, who is dating her mother.
"He represents the greatest golfer in the world," Kai expressed.
"Additionally, he's a more impressive individual. He told me to play, relax, following whatever happens."
She'll challenge some of most prominent players in the sport at the Annika, featuring world number two the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
Tournament organizers commented that involving Kai brings the sport to wider groups, especially with the next generation.
The young star boasts millions of followers and recently launched her own fashion and living brand.
Her first tee time at 17:30 GMT.
